Very Merry Falmouth, December 1-3

Eat, drink, shop, and play local! The Town of Falmouth and the Falmouth/Cumberland Community Chamber are pleased to present Very Merry Falmouth, December 1-3! We have added several new events this year, along with your old favorites, and are excited to announce that net proceeds from all our ticketed events will benefit the Falmouth Food Pantry.

Thursday, December 1, 5:30 pm: Falmouth’s 30th annual tree lighting at Village Park. Cookie decorating, crafts, and a visit from Santa all for free!

Thursday, December 1: the Scavenger Hunt begins! Pick up your checklist at any participating business and get those signatures!  You have until December 24 to collect ‘em all.  Prizes awarded the first week of January.

Friday, December 2, 5:00 pm: drop the kids off at CenterPoint Martial Arts from 5-9 pm for FREE and enjoy Parents’ Night out!

While the kids are at CenterPoint, join us at the Very Merry event tent at the Shaw’s Plaza for Holiday Happy Hour. This event for the 21+ crowd will feature local food purveyors and live music. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online or at the door; ID’s will be required.

Saturday, December 3, 9:00 am: the first ever Ugly Sweater Merry Mile will begin at Maine Medical Partners on Bucknam Road. Throw on your ugliest holiday sweater and compete in a 1 mile fun run.  Register online at:  https://racewire.com/register.php?id=7029

Saturday, December 3, 10:00 am: Rest up after your run with a FREE holiday movie at Flagship Cinemas!

Saturday, December 3, 1:30 pm: Second Annual Chili, Chowder, Soup and Stew Cook-off. Come and sample some of the best food around as local restaurants compete for top honors. Tickets are $10 for ages 13 and above; kids 12 and under eat free.
