The Town has scheduled a public presentation and opportunity for public comment to review the draft findings of the Falmouth Water Study. This meeting will be held on Wednesday July 6, 2016 at 6:00 PM in the Town Council Chambers, Town Hall, 271 Falmouth Road.

The study, which was conducted by Wright-Pierce with cooperation from the Portland Water District, focused on assessing limitations and investigating opportunities in providing public water service to the Town’s growth area. The draft findings show that only three areas in the Growth Area remain where service is currently not provided. The study identifies the infrastructure needs for those areas.

Following the July 6 public comments, this study will be finalized and is expected to be presented to the Town Council at its July 25 meeting.
