Caleb Hemphill was elected to the Town Council in 2014.  Caleb and his wife Rebecca moved to Falmouth in 1999.  Their two children attended Falmouth schools and are now in college. Caleb is a graduate of Middlebury College and has a MS in Environmental Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.

As Councilor, Caleb has served on the Community Development Committee (CDC), the Finance Committee, the Appointments Committee and Ordinance Committee. He has served as liaison to the Conservation Commission, Recycling and Energy Advisory Committee (REAC), the Land Management and Acquisitions Committee and the Tercentennial Committee.  Caleb also serves as Falmouth representative and Executive Board Member at ecomaine.  Prior to his term on the Council, he was active with several Town committees and was on the Board of the Falmouth Land Trust. He presently serves as an Advisor with the Chewonki Foundation in Wiscasset.

Caleb has a preservation woodworking business that focuses on the restoration and conservation of historic structures and museum houses.
