3. Sewer Bills

In October, 2005 the Town of Falmouth consolidated the quarterly sewer bill with Portland Water District's monthly water bill. Questions on the monthly sewer bill can be directed to the Town of Falmouth Wastewater Treatment Facility at 781-4462 or the Portland Water District at 761-8310. 

SEWER SERVICE RATE SCHEDULE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2022

1)  Residential rate of $48.28 per month.

2)  Commercial rate - the greater of the following:

• a) Minimum rate - $48.28 per month up to 1,000 cubic feet of water per month with additional usage at the rate of $3.47 per hundred cubic feet of water.
• b) First seventeen (17) interior fixture units for $48.28 per month (minimum rate). Over seventeen (17) fixture units at $2.28 per fixture per month.

3)  Multiple family and multiplex will be charged $48.28 per month per each living unit.

Falmouth residents may discharge septic and holding tanks for a fee of $.09 cents per gallon at the Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 96 Clearwater Drive, Falmouth.

If a floor drain, sump pump or roof drain is found connected to the sewer, a charge of $10.00 per month shall be assessed until removed from the sewer.
