Phased Reopening of Town Offices and Services Continues

Town of Falmouth Logo

The Town of Falmouth’s phased reopening continues with significant changes occurring beginning June 1. Under the phased reopening, some buildings will open to the public sooner than others, new safety measures will be put into place at all locations, and services that can be and have been done remotely will continue to be transacted in that manner. For everyone’s continued safety, we strongly encourage members of the public to avoid visiting Town buildings and facilities whenever possible and to continue to utilize our website and remote services when able. Most of our services are offered online, via e-mail, phone, and mail. Visit https://www.falmouthme.org/home/news/town-services-during-the-covid19-pandemic for additional information regarding remote services.

TOWN HALL

Clerk’s Office

Beginning on May 26, the Clerk’s Office opened by appointment only.  Appointments will be scheduled Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am-4:00 pm for assistance with services that cannot be completed remotely or online (new residents, new car, and new boat registrations). To schedule an appointment call 781-5253, prompt 1. Residents will be required to bring all necessary paperwork with them to these appointments. A checklist of required documents will be e-mailed after scheduling the appointment. Failure to provide the appropriate documentation will result in the cancellation of the appointment. The front door of Town Hall will be locked, and entrance will be through the side door.

On June 8, the Clerk’s Office will re-open to the public, without the need to schedule an appointment. Revised hours will be Monday-Thursday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm. The earlier closure time will allow for staff to process the high volume of transactions anticipated upon reopening. Parking may be limited to allow for social distancing. Follow additional signage regarding new safety and social distancing protocols.
