2018 Open Space Plan

In 2016-18 LPAC prepared recommendations for an update to the 2006 Open Space Plan (The Greening of Falmouth). Below is the final plan and other information related to this assignment.

FALL 2017 SURVEY

In fall 2017 the Long Range Planning Advisory Committee (LPAC) gathered opionions on open space issues in Falmouth. 458 responses were received. The survey was part of LPAC's work to develop an update to the 2006 Greening of Falmouth plan. Its results are being used as a public perspective on the themes and priorities of the new plan.

The survey results are available in the following formats:

• Summary results (charts and graphs only, 16 pages)
• All results (including verbatim comments, 66 pages)
• All results from respondents less than 20 years old (30 pages)
• All results from respondents between 21 and 50 years old (32 pages)
• All results from respondents 51 years and older (40 pages)
• Results from Q9 "What could the Town have done better in the last decade regarding any of the above goals?" based on responses to Q8 "How successful do you feel the Town has been in each of the following 6 goals over the last decade (2006-2017)?" - Q9 comments are organized by Q8 ratings provided (8 pages)

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

• Falmouth Conservation Corps  (information on how you can help build trails, keep our rivers navigable, create educational materials (print/video), control invasive species, conduct natural resource inventories, and otherwise help manage our town-owned open space properties)
