FCP Senior Stakeholders Meeting

Mason-Motz Activity Center, 190 Middle Road
Event Date:
Wednesday, November 8, 2017 - 9:15am to 11:00am

Falmouth Community Program's first Senior Stakeholder Meeting is being held this Wednesday November 8th at 9:15am in the Presumpscot Room, at the Mason-Motz Activity, 190 Middle Road.

This meeting was created when the SCAC (Senior Citizen Advisory Committee) meeting sunset. It will allow us to meet monthly to stay involved and have a voice for seniors living in Falmouth and the community. Similar issues/ideas that have come up at the SCAC meetings will be discussed here at the Stakeholders meeting. Also, we will be opening up this meeting to anyone in the community who would like to participate.

At this meeting on Wednesday we have Holly MacEwan, Service Learning Coordinator, from Falmouth High School joining us with three students. These three students attended the MIT AgeLab OMEGA Summit last month. This summit had many high school students across New England and the country work on ideas for intergenerational connections.

The students are coming approximately at 9:30am to present to us what they learned at the summit and share ideas for intergenerational activities that we see where the most interest lies. They do need to leave at 10:10am for another commitment.

I hope you can all make it.  If you have any questions, please email me back.  I hope to see you all this Wednesday.

Sincerely,

Kim Doyon, Senior Services Coordinator
