Amy Kuhn
Amy was elected to the Town Council in 2018 and 2021. She serves on the Council's Finance and Ordinance Subcommittees, as well as the Ad Hoc Retail Marijuana Committee. Amy is also the Council liaison to Falmouth Memorial Library and the Greater Portland Council of Governments.
For almost 20 years, Amy has been an active volunteer in the Falmouth community, including the schools, the Falmouth Food Pantry, and Falmouth Memorial Library's Board of Trustees. Amy has been awarded the Library's Theodore Johnson Award for outstanding service (2016) and its John J. Russell award for leadership that fosters civic education and participation (2022).
Amy holds a B.A. from Goucher College, a J.D. from George Washington University, and is a member of the Maine Bar. Amy and her husband Jamie moved to Falmouth in 2004 to raise their three kids in a great community with outstanding schools and easy access to recreation. In her free time, Amy can often be found walking to Town Landing and the Falmouth Nature Preserve with her two dogs, enjoying time out on Casco Bay, or skiing and snowshoeing in Rangeley.
