Construction Update #37 – January 2, 2020 - Last Update for the Season
The following information reflects the latest available information regarding the Route 100 Project in Falmouth. Please note that forward-looking information is based upon projections and is subject to change due to weather and other variables.
Note: As mentioned above, this will be the last weekly construction update until construction resumes in early spring.
WORK HOURS:
Work in the Route 100 Project zone for the remainder of the construction season will consist of normal construction working hours:
Note: Work will tentatively shut down for winter sometime around January 17th.
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
- Multiple crews are working on multiple facets of the project.
- The remainder of this construction season will focus on drainage work on Leighton Road, and electrical work for traffic signals/lighting.
WORK YOU’RE LIKELY TO SEE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE SEASON:
From today (January 2nd) until shutdown:
- Shaw Brothers will be installing drainage system infrastructure on Leighton Road (between Gray Road and Falmouth Road).
- Moulison Electric are continuing to work on traffic signal system installations at the Leighton Rd./Gray Rd. and Mountain Rd./Gray Rd. intersections.
- Moulison Electric are continuing to work on light pole conduit for pedestrian/sidewalk lighting;
- Cleanup of work zone. Removal of equipment.
- New street lighting fixtures will be installed along Gray Road (not part of Route 100 project; this is a separate Town project).
