Update on Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Landfill Project.

Item 5

Discussion regarding an emergency ordinance to temporarily suspend certain provisions of the Falmouth Code of Ordinances relating to outdoor eating areas and outdoor retail display to assist businesses suffering economic loss due to COVID-19 in a manner consistent with the Governor’s re-opening plan.

A public comment period is not typically included for an item not requiring formal Town Council action. The Town Council Chair will be proposing the Town Council waive the rules to allow public comment at this meeting because urgency is expected during the process to adopt this proposal.

ACTION: Council action is not anticipated.
Item 6

Order to (i) postpone the annual meeting to swear in Councilor-elects from the third Monday in June to the third Monday in July, (ii) establish a regular Town Council meeting for the month of June on June 22 and, (iii) cancel the regular Town Council meeting on July 27.

A public comment period will be included with this item.

2020.05.27 Virtual Town Council Regular Meeting

On Wednesday, May 27, 2020, at 7:00 pm, the Falmouth Town Council will conduct a virtual meeting using emergency legislation, Sec. G-1 MRSA §403-A, that allows cities and towns to conduct meetings online. 

The Town will use “Zoom” to conduct this meeting. The link to join the meeting via computer and phone instructions are below. In order to participate in the “public comment” portion of the meeting, please make sure your Zoom application is up to date. Otherwise, you will need to call into the meeting to participate.
