Falmouth kicks off its 300 year anniversary with an evening fireworks show as part of our community-wide, annual Very Merry Falmouth event. Join us on Route 1 for a sensational display.

Thursday, November 30

5:30-6:30 PM - 31ST ANNUAL FALMOUTH COMMUNITY TREE LIGHTING, VILLAGE PARK

Join us for a Falmouth tradition - the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting! There will be cookie decorating, crafts, refreshments, and a visit from Santa!

Friday, December 1

6:00-6:30 - FALMOUTH300 KICK OFF FIREWORKS, presented by Tyler Technologies

The grand celebration of Falmouth's 300 anniversary will kick off with fireworks, sponsored by Tyler Technologies! The fireworks will be launched from the Legion Fields on Depot Road, so there will be great viewing from Route 1.

6:30-9:00 PM - THE MERRY MIX AND MINGLE - IT'S A CLAUS FOR CELEBRATION, ROUTE 1 EVENT TENT

A fun, family friendly event will begin immediately after the fireworks in our event tent on Route 1. Good food brought to you by Ricetta's and live music provided by local band Hello Newman. Kids activities provided by CenterPoint Martial Arts and special guest Kung Fu Panda!

6:30-9:00 PM - THE STORY OF FALMOUTH TRAVELING EXHIBIT, presented by Leavitt & Sons Deli

Learn all about Falmouth's history at the launch of this 12 panel exhibit, a legacy project of Falmouth300. On display in the Very Merry Event Tent on Route 1.

Saturday, December 2

9:00 AM - UGLY SWEATER 5K AND MERRY MILE FUN RUN , ROUTE 1

Throw on your ugliest holiday sweater and race down Route 1 in Falmouth's holiday hustle! Proceeds to benefit Falmouth Memorial Library. Register here.

DAYTIME - SEGWAY SANTA AND HIS ELF, ROUTE 1

Lots of places have Santa, but only Very Merry Falmouth has Santa on a Segway! Santa will be patrolling the Route 1 corridor to talk with shoppers all day. If you're good, you might find he has a gift for you!

DAYTIME - FREE HORSE-DRAWN WAGON RIDES, ROUTE 1

Get a unique perspective of Route 1 from your seat in a horse-drawn wagon!

1:30-3:30 PM - THE HOT-IN-A-POT COOKOFF, VERY MERRY FALMOUTH EVENT TENT, ROUTE 1

Fill your belly with the best bowls of chili, chowder, soup, and stew in town, and help out your neighbors with donations of non-perishable goods to the Falmouth Food Pantry. Local restaurants and food purveyors are entering their best recipes for prizes and, more importantly, bragging rights. Bring your family for a taste of the best there is and cast your vote for the People's Choice Award!
