Join Falmouth Schools for a great evening of history and entertainment. The evening begins with a Middle School production of a  play, LITTLE SCHOONER ON THE THE BIG SEA, written by Virginia Vaughan, a long time teacher at Plummer-Motz, to celebrate Falmouth's 250th birthday.  The play tells the story of Falmouth in the 1800's through the eyes of school children and ladies of the town. The characters are all based on real people from Falmouth's history.

Following the play will be a presentation put together by Larry Dyrberg  on the history of the Danish settlers who came to Famouth in the late 1800's. This includes music by members of the Falmouth High School chorus, readings by Theatre Company members  from journals that Larry's grandparents left about their immigration and new life in America, and slides of Falmouth in the 19th and early 20th century.

Special showing of the Story of Falmouth Traveling Exhibit, presented by Leavitt & Sons Deli.

The event is open to the public and is free, though donations are appreciated.
