WORK HOURS:

For the next seven days, crews are expected to work from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays. No weekend or overnight work is expected during the period.

WORK CURRENTLY UNDERWAY:

As of Tuesday, June 3, work is occurring in various locations:

  • Near Falmouth Station, where sewer pipes are being replaced.
  • Installation of the underground power and communications conduit is underway near People’s United Bank.
  • Sargent Corp. is performing test pit excavations in various locations to verify the locations of existing utilities.

WORK YOU MAY SEE IN THE UPCOMING WEEK:

Moulison North, the sub-contractor who will be installing the underground conduit, will continue installing underground conduits near People’s United Bank, Falmouth Station, and Morong Falmouth.

Sargent Corp. will complete the remaining test pit excavations Tuesday and Wednesday.  Sargent will then begin removing existing drainage system pipe in the vicinity of Morong Falmouth, TD Bank, and Foreside Place.

Sargent will also be installing two new catch basins (storm drainage work) near the southern end of the Maine Real Estate Network property.
