Walmart representatives to present a request for a zoning amendment for a special district to accommodate the garden center and loading area as previously approved.

Summary:
Walmart received temporary approvals for the operation of the garden center from the Planning Board during the time that the expansion project was being reviewed. With the rezoning of the area to VC1 the previous configuration of the garden center is no longer permitted. A special district would allow Walmart to continue using the area as allowed prior to the rezoning and exempt the project from Planning Board review. Please find attached a cover letter, analysis of compliance with current zoning, a proposed zoning district map, zoning amendment and site plan.
