Summary
Order to create an ad-hoc Community Park Connector Committee to develop a plan for a trail connection between Community Park and the Falmouth Schools Campus.
A public comment period will be included with this item (3 minutes).
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
The establishment of a trail connection between the Falmouth Schools Campus and Community Park has been a long-standing item on the Town Council's workplan. For the 2014/2015 workplan, the creation of a committee to develop and recommend a plan for such a trail, including the necessary railroad crossing, was identified as a priority item.
Attached is a proposed charge for the committee, drafted by Councilors Mahoney and Hemphill.
