Presentation by the Recycling and Energy Advisory Committee of their report on potential regulation of plastic shopping bags.

Description
In July 2014, after receiving requests from several town residents for a ban on plastic shopping bags, the Town Council asked the Recycling and Energy Advisory Committee (REAC) to research the issue and develop recommendations for the Council to consider. REAC has spent the last several months on this task, gathering information and polling town residents and business owners.
Members of the committee will give a presentation on their report to the Council and answer any questions.
A copy of the final report and a powerpoint presentation are attached.
