Summary
Order to authorize a Supplemental Appropriation and transfer of $300,000 from the Unassigned Fund Balance for architectural services related to the Library expansion and renovation project.

Description
The Library Trustees put out a RFP for final architectural services on January 12, 2015, and received three proposals. After interviewing each firm and evaluating the proposals, the Trustees selected Scott Simons Architects, who drafted the preliminary designs.
These new services will include surveys, schematic design, and design development that will lead to final construction documents and the construction bid process. Final construction document preparation is not part of this phase of architectural services. Once private fundraising is deemed complete, additional architectural services will be necessary.
