Summary
Order to authorize the placement of a conservation easement on the former Stilling’s parcel; presently a 23.3-acre portion of Blackstrap Hill Community Forest.
A public comment period will be included with this item (3 minutes).
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
The Land Management & Acquisition Committee is requesting that the Council place a conservation easement on a 23.3-acre portion of Blackstrap Hill Community Forest known as the Stillings parcel. Please see the attached staff memo for a detailed discussion of the history of the parcel and the need for the proposed easement. A draft version of the proposed easement is also attached.
