Summary
Presentation from Avesta housing of a request for a zoning amendment in order to rehabilitate and expand the affordable senior housing development at 21 Squidere Lane.

Description
The existing Blackstone Apartments were built in the 1970's and are in need of significant rehabilitation work. In 2013, Avesta Housing acquired the property and began to pursue financing to perform the necessary repairs. Financing has been secured but is contigent on an expansion of the development of 19 additional units.
Representatives of Avesta Housing will be at the meeting to present the history of the site, the proposed expansion, and their request for zoning amendments to make the expansion possible.
