Summary
Discussion of zoning method to enable expansion of Foreside Estates as requested by Princeton Properties.

Description
At their May 23 meeting, the Council directed staff to make a recommendation to enable the expansion of Foreside Estates. It was recognized that the expansion would require amendments to the Zoning and Site Plan Review Ordinance. Staff have reviewed both the current ordinance, customary zoning practices and statutory provisions that enable municipalities to adopt zoning and have prepared the attached memo outlining their recommendation.
The attached memo from Town Attorney Amy Tchao, offers additional information that may simplify the amendment process.
