Summary
Introduction of an amendment to the Code of Ordinances Div. II-2-3-12. Economic Improvement Committee to update the charge and membership of the Falmouth Economic Improvement Committee (FEIC).
A public comment period will not be included with this item.
ACTION: Schedule Public Hearing.
Description
Council leadership (Farber, Hemphill) met with members of the Falmouth Economic Improvement Committee (FEIC) this summer to evaluate the implementation of the Economic Development Strategy and Council assignments to the committee.
The conclusion of that meeting was to recommend that the Council amend the membership of the FEIC so a quorum at meetings can be more readily obtained.
The recommendations are attached. The FEIC may also provide future recommendations regarding their implementation of the Economic Development Strategy.
