Summary
Public Hearing of an amendment to the Code of Ordinances Div. II-2-3-12. Economic Improvement Committee to update the charge and membership of the Falmouth Economic Improvement Committee (FEIC).

Description
Council leadership (Farber, Hemphill) met with members of the Falmouth Economic Improvement Committee (FEIC) this summer to evaluate the implementation of the Economic Development Strategy and Council assignments to the committee. The conclusion of that meeting was to recommend that the Council amend the membership of the FEIC so a quorum at meetings can be more readily obtained.
The Council reviewed this recommendation at its September 12, 2016 meeting and scheduled a Public Hearing for October 24.
The recommended ordinance amendments are attached.
