Summary
An order to authorize a license agreement with the Greater Portland Transit District (METRO) to locate a bus shelter in the Route One Right of Way.
A public comment period will be included with this item (3 minutes).
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
METRO would like to locate a shelter near the Falmouth Shopping Center to accommodate both Route 7 and the Breez. A copy of the license agreement and an exhibit showing the location is attached. The Town Council is being asked to authorize this agreement because it is considered a long term real estate transaction.
UPDATE 11/14/16: The map and plan of the shelter location has been updated.
