Summary
Order to authorize the Town Manager to execute an easement deed from OceanView to grant the Town permission to maintain a public sidewalk that will be partially located on private property, owned by OceanView, such sidewalk to be constructed and paid for by OceanView.
A public comment period will be included (3 minutes).
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
In accordance with previous development agreements with the Town of Falmouth, OceanView will construct a sidewalk on the west side of Middle Road between Lunt Road and Blueberry Lane. A portion of the sidewalk will be located on property owned by OceanView. The proposed easement will grant the Town permission to maintain the new public sidewalk in the future.
A copy of the easement deed is attached along with supporting plans that identify the location of the sidewalk.
