Summary
Order to authorize the Town Manager to execute an amendment to a Ground Lease Agreement for a cell tower located at Town Hall.
A public comment period will be included (3 minutes).
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
In October 2014, the Town Council authorized the Town Manager to execute a lease agreement to replace the current public safety communication tower behind Town Hall with a new mono pole tower. The agreement was amended in December, 2015 to change the rent commencement date, in recognition of the fact that the tower had not yet been built. The proposed amendment would change the rent commencement date again, from January 1, 2017 to April, 1, 2017.
A copy of the original lease agreement, the 2015 amendment, and the proposed amendment are attached.
