Summary
Introduction of amendments to the Code of Ordinances, Coastal Waters Ordinance in order to decrease the number of dinghy permits.
A public comment period will not be included with this item.
ACTION: Schedule public hearing.
Description
The Harbor and Waterfront Committee is requesting this amendment to the Coastal Waters ordinance to reduce the number of allowed dinghy permits. In recent years, the increase in private dinghies has created a safety issue at the floats. The Town provides 5 public dinghies for the use of mooring holders.
