Summary
Introduction of an amendment to the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 19, Zoning and Site Plan Review Ordinance regarding uses in the VC Districts.

Description
During an interpretation of the Zoning and Site Plan Review Ordinance Community Development staff discovered that language was inadvertently left out of the VC amendments in 2013. The CDC and Town Council had previously discussed and agreed on specific treatment of uses as noted in the attached memo to the Town Council dated May 24, 2012. The use “car wash” was, by error, left out of the use table under Section 19-11.3.1. This amendment corrects the error. Please find the amendment language attached, which includes the corrected table and a definition for “car wash.”
