Summary
Report from the Conservation Commission regarding the development of an ordinance to restrict pesticide applications.
A public comment period will not be included with this item.
ACTION: Council action is not anticipated.
Description
The Conservation Commission has made substantial progress on this 2016 work plan item. The attached report reflects the work completed this year. Also attached is a bill currently in the legislature that would prohibit municipalities from enforcing or enacting local ordinances. This bill is currently in committee. The Conservation Commission is prepared to complete this work with a proposed ordinance and seeks guidance from the Council on this item.
