One Day Closure of Legion Road at Bucknam Intersection, Thursday, April 6

As part of MaineDOT’s Bucknam Road Bridge Replacement project, Legion Road will be closed at the intersection of Bucknam Road on Thursday, April 6, from 7:30am to 4:30pm to accommodate the installation of drainage structures and a pipe crossing.

Residents will have access to their homes and the ball fields via Depot Road but cannot exit Legion Road at the Bucknam Road end. This closure is an attempt to limit traffic at an already congested intersection, as well as to prevent multiple nights of disruptive work outside residential homes.
