Overnight Closures Scheduled for I-295, Thursday, August 3

MaineDOT will execute 3 short stoppages of traffic on I-295 Southbound at Mile Marker 12 on the evening of Thursday, August 3. The stoppages will take place just north of the Johnson Road overpass in Falmouth and are to accommodate removal of an overhead message sign and associated truss. The stoppages will last no longer than 25 minutes and are expected to take substantially less than that. Once one stoppage is complete, traffic will be completely cleared before the next stoppage begins. The first stoppage is scheduled for 10:00pm and the next two will follow shortly thereafter. Advanced warning will be posted on message signs north of the work and Maine State Police will facilitate the closures.
