Continuation of Discussion about Establishing an Ordinance/Policy Regarding the Use of “Eminent Domain” When Necessary to Construct and Maintain Town/Public Infrastructure (Roads, Drainage, Wastewater Collection, etc.).
Description
At its October 14, 2020 meeting the Committee asked staff to draft a section in the Town purchasing guidelines and policy that addresses the taking of property for infrastructure projects. The draft section (Section X) is attached.
