Order to authorize the Town Manager to execute four Option Agreements related to Open Space grant applications.

Summary:
The Land Management and Acquisition committee is seeking grant funding for the acquisition of four parcels of land bordering the North Falmouth Community Forest. Having Options Agreements in place for these four parcels is beneficial in order to increase the probability for Land for Maine’s Future grant approval. The Option Agreements are conditioned that the town receive at least one of the two grants that have been applied for as well as the Town Council authorizes the expenditure of town funds for the project. If neither of these two conditions are met, the agreements become null and void.
