Summary
Public Hearing and Order regarding the June 14, 2016 referendum question pertaining to the proposed Route 100 Infrastructure Project. This Public Hearing is in accordance with M.R.S.A 30-A § 2525 (5).
A public comment period will be included with this item. (5 minutes per person)
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
The improvements of the Route 100 Preliminary Plan are estimated to cost approximately $11M. MaineDOT Commissioner Bernhardt has pledged to contribute up to $4M to the project. The remainder is proposed to be funded through the West Falmouth Crossing Tax Increment Financing District using a portion of the current and projected fund balances in that account and the proceeds of proposed $6.0M bond to be approved in the June 14, 2016 Referendum.
