An update from the Senior Committee and an order to amend the committee's charge.

ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
The Senior Citizen Advisory Committee (SCAC) is reporting back to the Council one year after their report was issued. The group is supporting the Senior Room construction and will also speak about future initiatives. The group is requesting another one-year extension until September 2017. If the extension is granted, it will allow the ad hoc committee to continue its work and make sure the Senior Room is operational in early 2017.
Attachments include the Committee's original report and its appendices dated September, 2015, an updated report dated September, 2016, and a powerpoint presentation.
