Summary
Order to authorize the Town Manager to execute an option agreement previously approved by the Town Council and to confirm a previously executed amendment to the option agreement.
A public comment period will be included (3 minutes).

Description
The Town Council authorized an option agreement to acquire approximately 43 acres of land situated between private roads Huston Road and McDermott Way, off Mast Road (a public road). Since the original agreement authorized by the Town Council on October 24, 2016, it was determined that it would not be in the Town’s best interest to acquire that portion of property that includes the private road named Huston Road. Huston Road is not a necessary access point and the Town could be obligated to certain maintenance responsibilities if it were to acquire this road. By deducting the land area associated with Huston Road the amended acquisition size would be approximately 3 acres less than the original option agreement.
