In 1997, the Falmouth Town Council passed an order to extend the Town’s rights to 35 portions of roads known as ‘paper streets’. The 20-year extension expires on September 15, 2017.  Municipalities may file for an additional 20-year extension by filing a new notice prior to the expiration date. Town staff have begun a review of these paper streets to determine the most appropriate action for the Town Council to consider. An introductory presentation, a copy of the 1997 Council Order, and an inventory of paper streets are attached.
