Discussion regarding future of the committee, including review of its ordinance charge and mission statement.
Description
The Appointments Committee has asked all advisory boards and committees to add reviewing their ordinance charges for whether they need to be update/expanded/shortened and to draft one to two sentence mission statements to their upcoming meeting agendas.
Attached are the FEIC Ordinance Charge and the Council Work Plan items for FEIC.
The FEIC's Mission Statement has been: "The Falmouth Economic Improvement Committee (FEIC) works at the direction of the Town Council and advises the Council on economic development policy for the town. FEIC’s work consists of recommendations to the Council. Only the Council can make decisions."
