Summary
Presentation from the Land Management & Acquisition Committee, introduction of the Town Forester, and an Order to approve the 2015 Forest Harvesting Plans for Blackstrap Hill Community Forest and Woods Road Community Forest.

Description
As directed by the Town Council's resolution on December 9, 2013 (Resolution no. 74-2014), the Land Management & Acquisition Committee (LMAC) will introduce the recently contracted Town Forester and recommend specific harvest plans for two properties, Blackstrap Hill Community Forest and Woods Road Community Forest. Drawing from the individual 2013 open space management plans for both properties, Paul Larrivee, Town Forester, has developed recommendations for the harvesting of each property. He will present his background, summarize Sappi’s extensive forestry operation, and discuss the details of each of the proposed plans.
