Summary
Resolution regarding the Ad Hoc 260 Foreside Road Committee's recommendations for a public input process that will allow the Council to make decisions regarding the Town-owned 260 Foreside Road property.
A public comment period will be included with this item (3 minutes).

Description
The committee’s charge was to make recommendations for a public input process that will allow the Council to make decisions regarding the Town-owned 260 Foreside Road property (owned formerly by Marion Brown). Since its appointment in May, the committee has met four times, reviewed the 2009 public input report, commissioned a Town Landing Parking Study completed by GPI, and conducted an on-line Boat Owner and Home Owner Survey. The committee's findings and recommendations are included in its report.
The Parks and Community Programs Director has drafted a memo in response to the Committee's report.
In case the Council decides to adopt a future resolution pertaining to site use and improvements to the 260 Foreside Road property as well as the abutting Underwood Park, staff suggest that the Council at that time requests that the Parks and Community Programs Committee (PACPAC) develop specific recommendations in that regard.
