Summary
Ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances, Article II-9-4, Section 9-94, in order to increase the number of moorings allowed for a marina.
A public comment period will not be included as public comment was taken at an earlier date.
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
The Harbor/Waterfront Committee is requesting the proposed amendment, which will allow a marina to have up to 70 moorings. Under the current ordinance language, marinas are limited to 60 moorings.
A letter of introduction from Councilor King and a memo from Police Chief Ed Tolan which includes the proposed amendment language are attached.
