Summary

Order to appoint members to the Community Development Committee, with a term to begin on August 1, 2017.

Description

The Council Rules state that Town Council authorizes the establishment of a Finance Committee, Appointments/Personnel Committee, Community Development Committee and an Ordinance Committee, to consist of such members of the Council as the Town Council may designate. In the past these committees normally consist of three members. 

Due to an ongoing project with the current CDC, the new appointees will begin their terms on the committee as of August 1, 2017. Current members (Councilors Hemphill, King, and Kitchel) will continue to serve until that date.
