Summary
Introduction of an ordinance to establish a moratorium on two-family and multi-family subdivision development in certain residential districts.

Description
At their September 11, 25 and 27 meetings, the Council discussed concerns about a number of two-family development proposals currently under review by the Planning Board as a result of the July 11, 2016 zoning amendment package. The Council concluded that these proposals were unanticipated and, as a result of those discussions, staff were directed to prepare a retroactive moratorium for introduction. The draft moratorium language is attached. Councilor King will introduce the moratorium.
