Summary

Description
At their September 11, 25 and 27 meetings, the Council discussed concerns about a number of two-family development proposals currently under review by the Planning Board as a result of the July 11, 2016 zoning amendment package. The Council concluded that these proposals were unanticipated and, as a result of those discussions, staff were directed to prepare a moratorium for introduction.
The Council introduced a moratorium for subdivisions for two-family and multi-family dwellings on Ocotober 2, 2017. The moratorium is presented with two options, the first including retroactivity to the introduction date and the second with an effective date of the date of ordinance adoption.
