Update on the Charter Commission process.

Description
Town staff will provide an update to the Charter Commission process. A revised timeline is attached based on the schedule used in 2008. This Charter Commission schedule assumes all work will be done in time for a vote on November 6, 2018. In 2008, the Commission expedited its work so the Charter vote would coincide with a Presidential election. This year, the Commission could take advantage of a gubernatorial election in November. If the Commission does not want a November vote, they would have to complete all work by April 2019 for a vote in the June municipal election. There is no Council action requested at this meeting. The Council will appoint the three remaining Commission members at its meeting on June 26.
