Summary
Ordinance to amend the Code of Ordinances, Chapter 8, relative to food service establishments.
A public comment period will not be included with this item as public comment was taken at an earlier date.
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
The Town Council, as part of its 2017-2018 work plan, assigned the rewrite of the existing food service ordinance to the Ordinance Committee to provide for the licensing of mobile food vendors as currently practiced. This has resulted in an amended ordinance that addressed both mobile and permanent establishments as all of the current ordinance applies to both. Attached are an introduction letter, redline version of the ordinance amendments, clean copy of the ordinance amendments, and a staff memo.
