Summary
Update, discussion and public comment on projected cost increases associated with the renovation/expansion of the Falmouth Memorial Library.

Description
Representatives from the Falmouth Memorial Library will present an update to the Town Council on the renovation and expansion of the Library. The presentation will include a recent construction estimate, which is presenting some challenges to the project. At the last Town Council meeting, there was discussion about scheduling a referendum question in November 2018 to request additional funding through municipal bonds. The Town Council decided that initial public input is important and encouraged.
The Town Council requested to review the referendum question and order that was passed by the voters in November 2014; projected long term debt payment schedule for voter authorized borrowing in 2014; and projected long term debt payment schedule for up to $1,000,000 (the possible amount to go to the voters in November 2018 to cover current project cost increases).
