Summary
(CANCELLED) Resolution to support the designation of a section of the Presumpscot River as the Mallison/Saccarappa Scenic and Natural River Corridor.
A public comment period will be included with this item (3 minutes per person).
ACTION: Council action is anticipated.
Description
Councilor King has asked that the Council consider the attached resolution from the Friends of the Presumpscot River, in support of establishing a 5 mile section of the river as the Mallison/Saccarappa Scenic and Natural River Corridor. This section of the river is unique in the Greater Portland metropolitan area, due to being nearly entirely undeveloped.
