Summary
Update from the Long Range Planning Advisory Committee (LPAC) on residential growth and density and recent zoning changes.
A public comment period will not be included with this item.

Description
Following the Council's April 2018 resolution regarding residential density, the Long Range Planning Committee (LPAC) conducted a public forum on November 15, 2018. The forum was facilitated by Craig Freshley of Good Group Decisions. Highlights of the forum are described in the attached report. A second report provides an on-line evaluation of the forum event.
LPAC is currently evaluating the public feedback received, reviewing applicable zoning regulations, and analyzing actual development data. It will give the Council an update on its work on December 10.
The committee expects to formulate any preliminary recommendations in early 2019. A second public forum (date TBD) is expected to be conducted before LPAC's recommendations are finalized and presented to the Council.

This site includes development data and other relevant information. LPAC is meeting on December 6 to do additional work for this Council agenda item. Additional information will be presented at the Council meeting.
