Summary
Concept discussion of an ordinance amendment to the Code of Ordinances Section 17.92.d regarding the addition of seasonal parking restrictions on Greenway Drive.

Description
Several residents from Greenway Drive have expressed concern about the road being used by Mackworth Island visitors for overflow parking. Similar concerns raised by residents on Andrews Ave led the Council to approve a seasonal parking restriction in Sec. 17-92.d of the ordinance, which reads:
d. Parking is prohibited at specific times and on specific dates:
Andrews Avenue-No parking, tow away zone, May 1 until October 31 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Designated spaces at the east end of Andrews Ave. are to be utilized as parking for Mackworth Island for Falmouth residents only.
Language similar to this ordinance could be used for Greenway Drive, if the Town Council decides that parking restrictions are necessary. A memo from Police Chief John Kilbride is attached.
