Summary
Resolution to formalize the expansion of LPAC's membership to support its evaluation of residential rates of growth and density and consistency with the Comprehensive Plan.
A public comment period will be included (3 minutes per person).

Description
As part of the Council's 2018/2019 work plan, LPAC was assigned the task of analyzing growth in the RA district since the 2016 amendment of the ordinance, conducting a public forum to solicit public input on the current status of zoning in RA, and drafting a report to Council with their findings. In December 2018, LPAC was working to draft their preliminary report when two members reached the end of their terms on the committee. In the interest of preserving institutional memory for this complicated project, the Appointments Committee recommended appointing those two members to an expansion of LPAC, called "LPAC+". The Council approved the Appointments Committee recommendation in January, 2019.
Ordinance section 2-71.a provides the Council the authority of expanding the membership of LPAC on an ad-hoc basis to address specific projects relative to the Comprehensive Plan.
